Interesting free app of the day: Coloroll

Making your game free is a good way of letting people try out new ideas.

In Coloroll the ‘game’ is trying to figure out what makes a color.  You’re given a target color and 3 other colors that could be used to make the target and it’s up to you to find out what combination is required to make the target color.  It’s a unique idea and it’s presented very well.  There are 2 modes; a time trial and an non-timed mode.  The time trial is pretty tough as you really don’t get that much time I felt.  Perhaps that will change as I get better.  The non-timed mode is perhaps the most fun since you can just mess around with combinations until you find the right one.

As this game is free I don’t know why you wouldn’t pick up this game.  It looks great, it’s easy to pickup, and it’s actually quite fun.
